As the year comes to a close, we invite you to be part of something truly life-changing for the animals who need us most. New River Animal Rescue has spent another year tirelessly working to protect and provide for the abandoned, neglected, and abused animals in our community. Many of these animals can’t advocate for themselves, but together, we can give them a voice—and a future filled with hope.

This holiday season, we’re launching our End-of-Year Donation Campaign, with a simple but powerful goal: to raise the funds needed to continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming the most vulnerable animals in our care.

Why Donate?

Every dollar you contribute will go directly to the following vital needs of the animals who rely on us:

Emergency Medical Care: From life-saving surgeries to routine check-ups, many of our animals arrive in critical condition. Your donations help ensure they receive the medical attention they desperately need.

Food and Shelter: Many animals come to us malnourished or without a safe place to sleep. Your support helps provide them with healthy meals and a warm, secure environment while we work to find them a forever home.

Behavioral Socialization: Some animals face challenges that go beyond physical health. Our team works diligently to provide socialization and love to ensure they are ready for adoption and can thrive in their new homes.

Transport and Outreach: Your donation helps us reach animals in desperate need across our county and surrounding areas, including those from rural areas or high-kill shelters. We have a dedicated transport program that helps save animals from situations where they might otherwise not survive.

$100 funds vaccinations and wellness exams for an animal.

$250 covers emergency vet visit for an animal in need.
